Merlin is mindful of our place within the wider community. As an energy company we understand current environmental issues and the push to secure our planet for future generations. We will work to be part of those changes by providing technical support which considers, and aims to limit, the impact of energy production from fossil fuels while also supporting emerging renewable energy solutions.
As Merlin is Employee-Owned, the staff are the company, and so we strive to create a safe, stimulating and fun environment for them to work in. In addition, we encourage our staff to give back to their local and global communities.
As part of the company strategy, Merlin is committed to transitioning to 25% non-fossil fuel revenue within 5 years.
We recognise the need for continued fossil fuel products in the near term and so work to optimise projects to minimise their environmental impact.
As we operate across the globe, Merlin uses video conferencing to ensure close links with clients, thus limiting the need for travel.
We run a paperless office and encourage staff to work digitally, reducing environmental impact of printing.
