15 Geophysicists go Down to Seismic Cove

Merlin recently took 15 acquisition and processing specialists from AkerBP to Dorset to enjoy a whistle stop tour through a working petroleum system. Merlin’s Phil Copestake and Bill Wilks have taken client groups on field trips before, but usually it has been for geoscientists, or management wishing to de-mystify sub-surface jargon! In this case, they had the pleasure of taking 15 Scandinavia-based specialists to the three iconic locations on the Jurassic Coast, namely Burton Bradstock, Lulworth Cove and Kimmeridge Bay. African Energy Week – Key Take Aways

Bill Wilks and Helen Bone have recently returned from Africa Energy Week 2025. With over 6,000 attendees the event is possibly the largest energy conferences on the continent. It provides a forum in which the energy strategies of countries across Africa can be showcased and where operators and investors can connect to further future developments.
