Lower and Middle Jurassic of the Isles of Skye and Raasay, NW Scotland.

In late June, our Principal Geologist Phil Copestake was lucky enough to join the post IAS (International Association of Sedimentologists) 2024 conference field trip to the isles of Skye and Raasay. The main emphasis of the trip was on the depositional environments of the Lower and Middle Jurassic succession, but also the relevance in the wider context of correlation to the North Sea and Mid Norway.
